What will you be doing?
We are seeking a System & Support Engineer to play a crucial role in supporting the Domo Broadcast (DBS) Teams. In this dynamic position, you will provide exceptional pre- and post-sales technical advice while creating tailored solutions that address the unique needs of our customers.
Your responsibilities will include offering expert guidance on technical configurations, optimising DBS products, and assisting customers with their technical inquiries. By ensuring seamless communication and support, you will help our customers maximize the potential of our technology and achieve their goals.
Key responsibilities will include
- Utilising expertise in wireless transmission equipment, with a strong understanding of RF principles and antenna systems, to support and optimize network operations.
- Apply knowledge of video encoding technologies and formats, from HD to UHD, to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Leverage hands-on experience with Cisco, Windows, and Linux (Ubuntu) networking environments to configure and maintain robust networks.
- Develop and write comprehensive guides for implementing networks across various products, ensuring clarity and usability for end users.
- Collaborate with Technical Authors to document complex features accurately and effectively for technical manuals and resources.
- Design and compose detailed and efficient network architectures tailored to project requirements.
- Provide operational, design, and integration expertise in military communications systems, including satellite and radio communications, to deliver high-performance solutions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of wireless technologies such as COFDM and 4G, as well as related components like video coding schemes, MANET systems, and networking operating systems, including Juniper.

Operational, design, and integration experience with communications systems, including satellite and radio communications, would be an advantage, as would familiarity with wireless technologies and video coding schemes.
A commitment to excellence and the preparedness to undergo UK Security Clearance are critical for success in this role.
