The position is responsible for both the physical and administrative tasks required to prepare high-value electronic products for shipment, ensuring deliveries are processed accurately and reach customers on time.

Working within a fast-paced logistics environment, the Shipping Coordinator will inspect, pack, and prepare products for both UK and international shipments while generating the required shipping documentation. The role requires close coordination with couriers and international shipping partners to ensure goods move efficiently through the supply chain.

  • Generating shipping documentation including commercial invoices, delivery notes, air waybills, and ATA Carnets for both permanent and temporary shipments.
  • Coordinating with courier services and international shipping providers to schedule and track shipments through to successful delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate export & import records to support HMRC compliance and audit requirements.
  • Supporting export license control record-keeping practices for shipments of export-controlled goods.
  • Ensuring goods are handled carefully and packaged appropriately to protect sensitive electronic equipment during transit.
  • Assisting with day-to-day logistics activities to support efficient dispatch operations.

The successful candidate will bring a positive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and support customer delivery requirements. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team will also be key to success in this role.

  • Previous experience working in a packing, shipping, or logistics environment within a manufacturing or supply chain setting.
  • Familiarity with export and import shipping processes, related documentation and UK Customs processes.
  • Experience in handling export-controlled goods shipping under licence and batteries by air/road (IATA/ADR controlled).
  • Good attention to detail, particularly when handling valuable or sensitive equipment.
  • A structured and organised approach to managing shipping documentation and operational tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external shipping partners.
