The Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across the European Unmanned Systems market.
This is a senior, externally focused role responsible for expanding DTC’s presence within the European unmanned ecosystem. You will build high-level relationships, identify new programmes and shape capture strategies with prime contractors, system integrators and end users.
You will play a key role in positioning DTC’s wireless datalink technologies within major European defence and security programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and develop strategic business opportunities across the European Unmanned Systems market
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with OEMs, prime contractors, integrators, distributors and end users
- Develop and execute capture strategies for major European programmes
- Establish and grow B2B partnerships within the wider UxV ecosystem
- Provide market intelligence on customer requirements, competitor positioning and emerging trends
- Support bid and proposal development with clear value propositions and differentiated win themes
- Contribute to pricing strategy and commercial positioning for competitive tenders
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting within Salesforce CRM
- Collaborate with International Sales, Marketing and Technical teams to align go-to-market strategy
What We Are Looking For
- Proven Business Development or Sales experience within Unmanned Systems including UAV, UAS or broader UxV platforms
- Background in Tactical Communications, RF technology, datalinks or C4ISR solutions
- Strong knowledge of the European defence and unmanned systems ecosystem
- Experience engaging with European Ministries of Defence, prime contractors and system integrators
- Demonstrated success managing complex bid cycles and capture activities
- Strong commercial awareness combined with technical understanding
- Self-motivated and capable of operating independently
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
