• This position has been evaluated with an annual base salary range of $52,000-56,000 CAD.

THE ROLE:

This position plays a pivotal role in our operations with responsibility for the accurate and efficient handling of all incoming and outbound shipments as well as all material handling in the stockroom following established procedures.

Core responsibilities may include:

• Maintaining and responding to incoming requests via the Ship Request Log.
• Entering, verifying, and validating the accuracy of data in SAP for shipping Sales Orders.
• Ensures goods are received into stock to meet production demand.
• Picks components for production orders.
• Organizing, managing, and performing the products’ counting and stock takes (cycle counts).
• Supports Accounts Payable PO reconciliation by addressing invoice-receipt inconsistencies with suppliers.
• Ensures the safety of the products and the valuable material in the stockroom during the whole handling process.
• Responsible for maintaining adequate levels of boxes, foam, and packaging materials. Notifies purchasing when supplies need to be ordered.
• Oversees ordering and on-time delivery of custom crates for orders.
• Responsible for scheduling pickup of cardboard recycling and the appropriate disposal of electronic components.
• Oversees the loading and unloading of goods to and from carrier trucks.
• Maintains shipping dock and stockroom by keeping these areas tidy, organized, and hazard-free.
• Follows established procedures as per QMS standard operating procedures.

At Zetron, we prioritize continuity and value cross-training. In this role, at times, you will provide backup support to team members during peak periods or staff absences to ensure smooth operations within our Manufacturing department.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• High School Diploma supplemented by 2+ years of experience in business operations.
• Experience in a Supply Chain or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP Systems. SAP experience is an asset.
• Comfortable with technology. Experience with MS Excel is desirable.
• Ability to lift (up to) 50 lbs occasionally, stand for prolonged periods of time and wear steel toe shoes for full shifts.
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and solid work ethic.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and ability to pick up new skills quickly.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of individuals and groups, both inside and outside of the organization.
• Experience using a pallet jack / pallet stacker would be an asset.
