About the role

 

At DTC, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of unmanned operations. This role is central to driving strategic growth and expanding partnerships across the US unmanned systems ecosystem. You will champion our advanced BluSDR radios as the mission-critical communications backbone for platforms operating in the air, on land, and at sea.

As the primary interface with the U.S. Department of Defense, allied forces, and leading unmanned systems integrators, you will play a pivotal role in understanding evolving mission requirements and influencing technology roadmaps. Your efforts will ensure DTC solutions are integrated into next-generation unmanned platforms that demand resilient, secure, and high-performance communications.

From initial engagement through integration, evaluation, and procurement, you will help deliver the trusted communications that enable unmanned systems to operate with confidence in the world’s most challenging environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape capability development, strengthen mission readiness, and contribute directly to the future of autonomous and remote operations.

 

Core elements will include:

 

  • Driving strategic growth by leading high-impact customer engagements, including tailored product demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and solution presentations that position DTC’s BluSDR radios as the backbone of unmanned operations across air, land and sea domains.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for the U.S. Department of Defense, allied forces, and leading unmanned systems integrators, ensuring clear communication, strong relationships, and long-term customer success.
  • Shape and influence customer requirements by aligning DTC solutions with emerging mission needs, guiding technology roadmaps, and positioning DTC to win critical programs.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that expand DTC’s presence within the unmanned systems ecosystem, increase market share, and drive revenue growth.
  • Maximize opportunity capture by aligning resources to the most strategic pursuits, strengthening win probability, and accelerating deal cycles.

 

About You

 

You are a high-impact sales professional reporting to the Director, US Unmanned Systems. You will take an active role in fueling DTC’s growth. You will be responsible for penetrating new markets and guiding opportunities from first engagement through successful capture. This is a role for someone who thrives on winning business, expanding market share, and driving results in the competitive unmanned systems domain.

You combine strategic sales acumen with the technical fluency needed to engage at the highest levels. You know how to position DTC’s solutions as the differentiator that wins programs and drives measurable growth. You anticipate customer needs before they’re voiced, proactively shaping opportunities and ensuring DTC continues to be the leader in the unmanned systems space.

Confident in front of customers, you excel at leading integration activities, flight tests, and evaluations that prove operational value in the most demanding environments. You thrive on building relationships with senior stakeholders, navigating complex defense procurement cycles, and pursuing opportunities with urgency and precision to deliver results.

While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely from select locations, you will maintain a consistent, periodic presence at our Ashburn, VA headquarters to drive collaboration, strategy alignment, and customer engagement.
