About The Role
Wave Central is seeking a highly motivated and results driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic Sales Organization. The SDR plays a pivotal role in supporting the company’s growth by promoting and selling our innovative products and solutions to new and existing customers.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, the SDR will act as a key liaison between internal teams and clients, ensuring a seamless sales process from initial contact to final delivery. This role is designed to both support field-based sales representatives by managing tasks more effectively handled in an office setting, and to proactively generate new business through independent outreach and lead nurturing.
Core activities will include but not be limited to:
- Generate new leads through cold calling, trade shows, and targeted outreach.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Handle customer inquiries and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Support deal negotiations, including pricing and proposal development.
- Deliver product presentations to prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records of leads and opportunities.
- Stay informed on company offerings and market trends.
- Validate quotes and purchase orders before submission.
- Assist with RMAs, out-of-warranty follow-ups, and product updates.
About You

To be successful in your application for this opportunity you will have demonstrated experience within a customer facing technical sales environment and be highly proficient with both ERP and CRM, ideally Salesforce, systems and tools as well as Microsoft Office suite.
We are seeking a highly committed, results orientated professional with high level interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive business outcomes.
An interest in radio communication systems would be highly advantageous but is not considered essential.
