What Will You Be Doing?

 

Accounts Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks to support our financial team and growing organisation.

 

 

As a Key Member of the Team, You Will:

 

  •  Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assisting in processing payments, invoices, and receivables, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  •  Payroll Processing: Supporting payroll processing by gathering and inputting relevant data.
  •  Balance sheet reconciliations: Reconciling GL accounts at month end to ensure accuracy and no discrepancies.
  •  Month end duties: assist with month end closing activities including posting journals, analysing transactions and variance analysis and reporting.

 

 

To Be Considered for this Role, You Must:

 

  • Have experience as an Accounting Assistant or Clerk. Experience within a technology/manufacturing company would be ideal. 
  • Be able to provide your Finance qualification (AAT) or equivalent.
  • Be experienced within accounting software within a professional environment (SAP would be ideal). 
  • Be able to demonstrate your familiarity with finance regulations.

 

 

 

About You:

 

We are inviting applications from experienced Accounts Assistants who have a can-do attitude to complement our small but growing Accounts Team. Your experience will be complemented by strong organisation skills, high level communication and interpersonal skills that will facilitate positive business outcomes for all internal and external stakeholders. 

 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work in the UK and an ability to be able to achieve aligned security clearances and Non-Police Personnel Vetting checks.
