What Will You Be Doing?

 

As a Software Development Manager, you will lead one or more of Zetron’s software development teams, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet client needs and align with project budgets and objectives. You will provide leadership, functional management, and resource planning while fostering a productive and efficient team environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Team Leadership & Management:

 

    • Oversee and support onshore development teams to meet performance and delivery standards.
    • Address performance issues promptly to maintain productivity.

Project Oversight:

 

    • Ensure all software solutions conform to Zetron’s quality and technical standards.
    • Collaborate with Product Teams to align software with client requirements and business goals.
    • Produce and manage delivery plans and resource allocation for all projects.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

 

    • Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements.
    • Ensure adherence to technical, design, and quality standards.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

 

    • Liaise with customers and key stakeholders to provide updates and manage expectations.
    • Communicate deviations from plans, recommend corrective actions, and support recovery efforts.

Additionally, you’ll prepare accurate project reports, mitigate technical risks, resolve issues, and work with the Zetron Management Team to ensure budgets and timelines are met.

 

About You

 

We’re seeking an experienced Software Development Manager with a proven track record of leading complex projects and motivating high-performing teams. You’ll have experience managing teams of developers through the full software development lifecycle, utilising methodologies like waterfall and agile, and collaborating with offshore teams on joint projects.

Proficiency with technologies such as Java/JavaScript, Microsoft .NET, MI/ETL/Data Warehousing, and integration engineering is essential. Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical, are crucial, along with self-motivation, the ability to work independently, and a dynamic, quality-focused approach. This role demands technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to driving successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
