What will you be doing?

 

We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager with a passion for delivering successful projects to join our growing team in Ashburn, VA. In this role, you will lead and oversee projects from initiation to completion, working closely with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business, as well as collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams.

 

Your primary focus will be ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining clear and consistent communication with the leadership team and proactively identifying and mitigating project risks. Backed by a global company network, you will work across the organization to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive overall success.

 

Key Responsibilities will include.

 

  • Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders to develop comprehensive project and program plans, ensuring proper resourcing and team allocation to meet project delivery requirements.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, participating in Project Risk Management Reviews to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to engineering staff assigned to the projects, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Contribute to special initiatives and continuous improvement projects, enhancing processes, tools, systems, and overall organizational efficiency.

 

About You

 

Ideally, you will have prior experience in program or project management within a communications or sensor systems integration environment, with a strong emphasis on technical execution and systems engineering. Experience supporting DHS, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies is highly desirable.

 

You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with all stakeholders. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to think strategically will set you apart in this role. With a natural leadership style, you foster a supportive and open team environment, encouraging collaboration and growth.

 

Your background includes exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering environments, equipping you with the ability to navigate complex projects and programs effectively. A can-do attitude and a strong drive for results make you a proactive and solutions-oriented professional.

 

Formal qualifications in Project Management or an Engineering discipline would be highly regarded but is not considered essential.
