The Role 

 

As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the front of Zetron’s growth across EMEA, focused on opening new opportunities and building a high quality pipeline for our control room solutions. You will engage end users, partners, and system integrators to qualify needs, shape demand, and progress opportunities through to order. A solid technical understanding of MCx technology and control room solutions is strongly preferred so you can hold credible conversations with operational and technical stakeholders. 

 

Business development & pipeline growth:
Develop and execute an EMEA territory plan, targeting priority sectors, accounts, and partners. Generate and qualify pipeline across public safety, transport, utilities, and other mission-critical environments through prospecting, networking, events, and partner activity.

 

Customer & partner engagement:
Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, operational leaders, and technical stakeholders. Lead structured discovery to align customer needs with Zetron solutions, and work closely with partners and integrators to drive qualified opportunities and solution adoption.

 

Opportunity & commercial ownership:
Own the full sales cycle from prospect to close. Manage opportunity planning, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene; negotiate commercial terms in line with corporate guidelines; and support tender and bid activity with strong commercial and partner alignment.

 

Cross-functional collaboration & market insight:
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Marketing to deliver a seamless customer experience. Represent customer needs internally and provide market and product feedback to inform roadmap, campaigns, and demand generation.

 

Qualifications and experience 

 

Essential 

  • Strong track record in business development or complex B2B sales within mission critical technology markets 

  • Demonstrated ability to create pipeline and convert it through structured qualification and disciplined deal progression 

  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder management skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritise competing demands, and stay on top of detail 

  • Willingness to travel across EMEA for customer and partner engagement 

 

Preferred 

  • Technical understanding of MCx, broadband push to talk, LTE and 5G mission critical communications, and control room solutions 

  • Experience selling into public safety, emergency services, transport, utilities, or critical national infrastructure 

  • Familiarity with EMEA procurement and tender driven sales environments 

  • Experience building routes to market with partners and system integrators
