What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, the Global Digital Sales Director will be responsible for driving digital sales strategies across all global sectors and markets. You’ll lead and execute e-commerce and digital marketing initiatives, ensuring our products reach new customers and markets through optimizing online sales platforms and enhanced visibility. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll identify opportunities for growth and implement data-driven strategies that improve customer engagement and retention.
Additionally, you’ll track and analyse key performance metrics, adjusting tactics to maximize our digital presence and ensure Minelab stays ahead in the ever-evolving online marketplace.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Lead and develop Minelab's global digital sales strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee digital marketing campaigns and e-commerce operations, optimizing our online presence and sales channels.
- Drive innovation in digital engagement and lead initiatives to boost customer acquisition and retention.
- Develop and manage partnerships with key online platforms to maximize global sales opportunities.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging digital sales trends and technologies to keep Minelab ahead of competitors and continuously innovate the online sales strategy.
- Manage global budgets for digital sales initiatives, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while meeting revenue targets and maximizing profitability.
- Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to deliver data-driven strategies for growth.
About You
To be successful in this newly created and evolving role, you are a dynamic and results-driven digital sales leader with a deep understanding of e-commerce, digital marketing, and ideally the electronics industry. You will bring extensive experience, relevant qualifications, and a proven track record of driving online sales growth, leading large-scale digital campaigns, and optimizing top e-commerce platforms—including, but not limited to, Amazon and Mercado Libre.
We are looking for an expert in data analysis, customer insights, and market trends that will allow you to craft innovative strategies that deliver measurable results. You thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and can lead and influence cross-functional teams, collaborating seamlessly to achieve shared goals. Your strong leadership skills, strategic mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit make you the ideal candidate to lead Minelab’s digital sales efforts into the future. Within our business we recognise and respect the need for flexible working arrangements, however due to the high touch team engagement nature of this role it will be predominantly based at our Aurora - Illinois facility.
This role will require periodic interstate and international travel to support collaboration with regional teams, attend strategic planning sessions, or participate in key business initiatives.
