Salary Range $90,000 - $125,000
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and validation of electronic systems for Kägwerks military communication products.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Collaborating closely with R&D, testing, manufacturing, and customer service teams to achieve product goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of ruggedized electronic systems, subsystems, and embedded hardware for military applications.
- Designing circuit boards, including schematic design and layout
- Select components, evaluate alternatives, and ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and environmental requirements
- Participate in prototype bring‑up, debugging, and verification testing.
- Assist in preparing and executing environmental, EMI/EMC, and qualification testing to relevant military standards
- Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, systems engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful system integration
- Support root‑cause investigations and corrective actions for electrical issues
- Occasional travel for testing, field evaluations, or supplier visits
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Prior experience in electrical embedded system design including circuit board design
- Experience with EE design tools such as Altium, Cadence, SPICE, MATLAB, or similar
- Hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers
- US citizenship or green card is required
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC considerations, environmental testing, and ruggedized hardware design
- Familiarity with high speed digital design techniques
- Background in secure communications, sensor systems or ground vehicle electronics
