About the Role

 

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Business Development – Law Enforcement Solutions, this position will be responsible for managing and expanding our existing customer base to support the sector’s continued organic growth. Additionally, this role will identify new sales opportunities, develop new relationships, and establish new channels to market.

 

Core elements will include:

 

  • Identify and research competitors, understanding their offering to market.
  • Research potential clients in new and existing markets, pursuing leads, and moving through the sales cycle.
  • Promote the company’s products by addressing and predicting client needs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Participate in all sales forecasting and planning.
  • Participate in or attend exhibitions, conferences, and shows as required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of key players in the Public Safety or telecommunications industry.
  • Experience working within Public Safety, Law Enforcement, Telecommunications, and/or IoT industries.

 

About You

 

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with strong business development, sales, and negotiation skills, coupled with advanced business acumen, organizational abilities, and interpersonal expertise.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience driving sales growth within the Public Safety, Law Enforcement, Telecommunications, or IoT industries. You will also have a track record of increasing revenue within commercial businesses or government authorities at the local, state, or federal level. Existing post-graduate qualifications in a relevant sales or technical field, while not mandatory, would be highly beneficial. Additionally, experience or familiarity with drone or uncrewed vehicle technologies would be advantageous.

This role requires travel within North America and the ability to obtain security clearance.

 

Within the DTC business, we recognize and respect the need for flexible working arrangements. However, due to the high level of team engagement required, this role will be predominantly based at our Ashburn, Virginia facility.
