What You Will Be Doing

We are looking for a versatile Software Developer to join our agile team in designing and delivering robust, mission-critical communications systems. This role involves full-cycle development, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and integration—focused on ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across varied environments.

Expertise in C++ and Linux, C# and .NET for Windows, or native Windows application development is highly valued. While this is not a managerial role, you will actively mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in advancing life-saving communication technologies.

Core activities will include but not be limited to:

• Analyse, design, and develop new features and enhance mission-critical applications.
• Contribute to architecture and system design, ensuring scalable and robust solutions.
• Engage with users and stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver an exceptional user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer reviews to uphold coding standards.
• Debug, test, and validate software to ensure high quality and performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and help define clear, actionable user stories.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with user and business goals.
• Ensure software meets all functional, non-functional, and quality standards.
• Support and review product documentation for accuracy and clarity.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Developer to complement our growing and engaged global team. Your aligned technical experience will be complemented by high level organisational, communication and interpersonal skills that will facilitate positive business outcomes for all internal and external stakeholders.

Aligned qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or another related field would be highly beneficial.
