Salary range $90 - 110,000
About the Role
As the Assembly Lead, you will play a key role in driving production performance across safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets. You’ll lead a team within the manufacturing environment, providing clear direction, training, and support to ensure operational excellence.
In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll coordinate with supervisors to manage daily operations while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will also act as the frontline liaison for both internal teams and customers, ensuring all inquiries and issues are addressed effectively and promptly.
Key Deliverables
- Lead and guide team members in daily production operations.
- Provide clear direction, instruction, and training to staff.
- Coordinate with supervisors to manage schedules and workflow efficiently.
- Achieve safety, quality, delivery, and performance objectives.
- Support employees by addressing questions and assisting with issue resolution.
- Maintain and promote strong customer relations by responding promptly and effectively.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.
- Perform employee training and orientation as required.
- Step in to perform or support production management duties during absences.
- Carry out additional assignments as required by management.
About You
You are a proactive and motivated leader with extensive experience in manufacturing and assembly operations. You thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments where precision, teamwork, and quality are essential. You take pride in empowering others to succeed and have a strong focus on achieving operational excellence through leadership, communication, and organization.
With a solid foundation in electro-mechanical assembly, you bring hands-on expertise working with printed circuit boards, cable and harness soldering, and mechanical assembly. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about producing quality work that meets or exceeds expectations. You understand the importance of continuous learning and improvement, and you actively foster that same mindset within your team.
You communicate clearly, balance priorities effectively, and maintain professionalism under pressure. You are driven by a desire to lead by example—promoting safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction in every aspect of your work.
Within the Kagwerks business we recognise and respect the need for flexible working arrangements, however due to the high touch, team engagement nature of this role, it will need to predominantly be based on site at our Vancouver, WA facilities, with work-from-home arrangements available by agreement.
