About the Role
This is a part-time position (33 hours per week) with flexibility on days and hours to suit the successful candidate.
As the WHS Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the effective coordination and maintenance of Codan’s Work Health and Safety (WHS) programs across our global operations. This role focuses on the day-to-day management of WHS systems, documentation, reporting, and compliance processes to help maintain a safe and well-governed workplace.
You will be responsible for the accurate upkeep of WHS records, preparation of reports, coordination of training activities, and administration of incident management and compliance systems. Working closely with the HR team, managers, and the WHS Committee, you will help ensure all safety-related documentation, policies, and systems remain current and compliant with relevant legislation and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining and updating WHS registers, documentation, policies, and training materials.
- Preparing and distributing regular WHS reports, data summaries, and updates for the Codan Group and relevant internal forums.
- Administering WHS systems, including SharePoint, SuccessFactors, and incident management tools, ensuring data accuracy and version control.
- Coordinating WHS training programs, maintaining attendance records, and following up on completion status.
- Assisting with the documentation and tracking of incident reports, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Supporting the HR and WHS teams with administrative tasks related to policy reviews, audits, and reporting cycles.
- Providing administrative coordination for safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities across Codan’s global operations.
About You
You are a detail-oriented and organised administrative professional with experience supporting workplace health and safety, HR, or compliance functions. You have a strong ability to manage documentation, maintain accurate records, and coordinate multiple tasks within established processes and timelines.
Your strong communication and coordination skills allow you to liaise effectively across departments and levels of the organisation. You are confident working with WHS systems and tools such as SharePoint and SuccessFactors (or similar), and you take pride in ensuring data integrity and procedural compliance.
