About the role
We’re seeking an ICT Support Officer to deliver responsive, reliable, and customer-focused IT support across the Codan Group. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT issues, resolving tickets quickly and efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver face-to-face IT support for staff based in the Adelaide office.
- Provide responsive IT assistance to remote users worldwide via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Triage helpdesk issues by answering calls, managing tickets, and prioritising or escalating as needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure effective solutions.
- Maintain and improve documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user guides.
- Contribute to special projects that enhance processes, tools, and systems across the business.
- Ensure all activities align with Codan’s Quality Operating System and business standards.
- Foster strong professional relationships and clear communication across teams.
About You
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum Certificate IV in IT or relevant industry certifications, with experience in ICT helpdesk or desktop support, preferably within a corporate environment. Skills in hardware and software builds, troubleshooting, and fault resolution are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office, Windows OS, networks, and Active Directory. Knowledge of systems administration and the ability to triage and escalate IT requests when required are also highly regarded.
The role requires well-developed diagnostic, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and time management skills, underpinned by a collaborative, self-motivated, and adaptable approach.
