About the Role:
Are you passionate about crafting compelling narratives and engaging audiences? We’re looking for a talented Communications Specialist to elevate Codan’s brand presence both internally and externally. Based in our vibrant Mawson Lakes office, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create impactful communication strategies that align with our mission and values.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Content Creation and Storytelling:
- Develop and share captivating stories showcasing Codan’s global impact, customer journeys, and innovations.
- Craft high-quality content for reports, presentations, and digital platforms, ensuring every message resonates with our audience.
- Support key projects with tailored communication materials that inspire and inform.
- Internal Engagement:
- Collaborate with the CHRO to design and implement communication strategies that foster a strong company culture and sense of belonging.
- Lead the creation and rollout of the Group’s annual communication plan, ensuring it reflects our strategic objectives.
- Manage internal platforms like SharePoint, delivering timely updates that keep our global team connected.
- External Branding:
- Draft compelling press releases and media content that amplify Codan’s brand and reputation.
- Partner with business units to uncover newsworthy stories and share them with external audiences.
- Oversee the Codan website, ensuring it remains a dynamic hub of information and engagement.
- Annual Report Leadership:
- Take the reins on the annual report, weaving together themes and stories that highlight Codan’s achievements.
- Coordinate with teams to gather insights and data, ensuring the report is a true reflection of our journey and future goals.
- ESG Communications:
- Champion Codan’s sustainability story, creating content that showcases our commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
- Collaborate with teams to highlight our ESG initiatives, ensuring our message is clear, impactful, and aligned with our values.
To be successful for this role we are looking for a Communications Specialist who can:
- Bring a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Showcase a track record of success in corporate communications, preferably in a global setting.
- Demonstrate exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills that captivate and inform.
- Think strategically and manage complex messaging across diverse platforms.
- Leverage expertise in social media and content management to engage and grow our audience.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment, influencing stakeholders and driving projects forward with creativity and passion.
- Manage stakeholders and collaboration efforts across multiple time zones and regions.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, WordPress and MailChimp.
