About the Role
As the Communications Advisor, you’ll play a key role in bringing Codan’s story to life by creating clear, engaging and consistent communications that connect our people and promote our brand globally. Reporting to the Global Communications Manager, you’ll help deliver Codan’s global communications strategy by planning, writing and coordinating compelling content across internal and external channels.
You’ll work closely with teams across Codan and its businesses to drive engagement, strengthen our brand presence and showcase who we are and what we do.
From developing internal campaigns and multimedia stories to managing digital platforms and supporting external communications, you’ll be at the centre of telling Codan’s story to both internal and external audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing communications plans in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
- Creating engaging internal content and managing channels such as the intranet, newsletters and leadership updates.
- Supporting internal engagement activities and digital storytelling that celebrate Codan’s people, culture and achievements.
- Producing clear, targeted content for external platforms such as media releases, social media, website, speeches and investor communications.
- Managing Codan’s digital content and social channels, using analytics to measure and improve engagement.
- Supporting Codan’s global brand through consistent messaging and strong visual identity.
- Partnering with HR to enhance the employer brand and employee experience.
- Supporting and coordinating projects with internal teams and external agencies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and deadlines.
About You
You’re a creative and driven communications professional who loves finding the story behind every message. Passionate about crafting content that connects, engages and builds brand pride, you bring fresh ideas, strategic thinking and a keen eye for detail to everything you create — across any channel or audience.
You hold a relevant qualification in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism or a related field, and have exceptional writing and editing skills that turn complex ideas into clear, engaging messages.
A natural collaborator, you’re skilled at managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines. You’re proactive, adaptable and always looking for ways to improve engagement and impact.
You’re comfortable working with digital communication tools, content management systems and social media platforms, and ideally have experience with photography, videography or multimedia storytelling.
