About the role

 

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated APAC IT Operations Team Lead to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the regional Helpdesk and IT operations function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support and system administration across Codan’s APAC region. You will play a key part in developing the capabilities of the Helpdesk team, managing escalations, and ensuring operational excellence across diverse technology environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor all problems reported to the Helpdesk and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop the technical and service skills of the Helpdesk team.
  • Resolve client problems, queries and complaints efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to other Helpdesk operators.
  • Maintain a high level of system administration across various platforms.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure effective issue resolution and service delivery.
  • Implement operational projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot systems and ensure high availability and performance across the IT environment.

 

About You

 

You will hold a relevant IT qualification or industry certification, with extensive experience in an ICT Helpdesk or Server Support role. You bring a broad technical skillset across Windows Servers, Virtualisation, IT Security, MS Office, Windows OS, networks and systems administration, with experience configuring and supporting Microsoft 365 services, along with demonstrated experience working in complex environments.

As a natural leader, you have the ability to mentor and develop team members while maintaining a detailed understanding of Helpdesk and Customer Support processes. You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Self-motivated and adaptable, you can work autonomously, prioritise competing demands, and apply sound judgment to problem-solving. Above all, you take a collaborative and flexible approach, thriving as part of a supportive and high-performing team.
