Kägwerks develops rugged, operator-worn communications technologies, while DTC provides secure wireless communication. Together, our business units help improve connectivity, situational awareness, and operational effectiveness in demanding environments for the war fighter on the battlefield.
About the Role
As a Sales Administrator, you will support Sales Operations across multiple DTC North America business units, helping customer inquiries move smoothly from quote through to order and delivery. You will prepare quotes, review purchase orders, enter approved orders and keep customers and internal teams informed.
You will work across CRM and ERP systems, maintain accurate records and documentation, and coordinate with Sales, Finance, Contracts and Operations teams to resolve issues and keep orders on-track.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor shared inboxes, respond to routine customer inquiries and direct urgent or specialist requests to the right team.
- Prepare and revise customer quotes using approved pricing, product information and templates, coordinating exceptions and approvals where required.
- Review purchase orders against quotes, including pricing, quantities, shipping details and terms, and resolve discrepancies before order entry.
- Enter approved orders into ERP systems, issue acknowledgments and coordinate order changes and delivery updates.
- Track open orders and delivery dates, identifying delays and working with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Sales Operations on next steps.
- Maintain Salesforce opportunities, quotes, customer information and activities, supporting accurate reporting and pipeline visibility.
- Collect and retain customer and order documents, including forms, end-user details and approvals, following established processes.
- Escalate contractual, government, export, payment and delivery exceptions to the relevant specialists in line with established procedures.
- Keep customer and distributor portals up to date with documentation, pricing, certifications and order information.
- Provide timely customer updates and coordinate with teams across the business, including routing RMA and warranty documentation.
- Manage government and defense order requirements by ensuring applicable DPAS ratings and approved FAR/DFARS flowdowns are accurately documented and communicated to the appropriate internal teams for inclusion on applicable supplier purchase orders.
- Support export compliance by collecting and maintaining end-user information, export documentation, and required approvals, and escalating exceptions in accordance with applicable export-control regulations and internal procedures.
About You
You have solid experience in sales administration, sales operations, order management, customer operations or a related field. You are comfortable handling quotes and orders, maintaining accurate records and communicating with customers.
You are organized, attentive to detail and able to balance competing priorities across several teams and systems. You exercise sound judgement within established procedures, know when to escalate an issue and handle sensitive customer, contractual and pricing information with discretion.
You are confident using Outlook, Excel, and CRM and ERP systems. Experience with Salesforce and entering orders into a large ERP system would be advantageous.
U.S. citizenship is required due to the handling of export-controlled materials, and the successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
