Reporting to the Vice President, Global Marketing, the Video & Motion Graphics Specialist will play a key role in shaping how Minelab brings its products, technology, and stories to life through video and motion content.
Based in Florianópolis, Brazil, this is a senior individual contributor role combining hands-on creative production with end-to-end project ownership and technical leadership. You will lead complex video projects from initial brief and concept through production, post-production, and final delivery, while helping establish the standards, workflows, and creative approaches used across Global Marketing.
You will work closely with creative, content, digital, regional marketing, and sales teams around the world, translating marketing strategies and business needs into engaging audiovisual experiences for product launches, campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, training materials, and other digital channels.
This role is ideal for an experienced video and motion professional who enjoys being hands-on with the work while also influencing creative direction, improving processes, and acting as a trusted technical partner to stakeholders across a global organization.
Key Responsibilities will include:
-
Leading complex video projects from brief and concept development through production, post-production, and final delivery.
-
Creating and contributing to concepts, scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and production plans in partnership with key stakeholders.
-
Planning and coordinating video shoots, including schedules, equipment, locations, participants, and external production partners.
-
Performing advanced video editing, compositing, color correction, sound design, motion graphics, visual effects, and final mastering.
-
Creating high-quality motion graphics, animated typography, infographics, transitions, product animations, and other visual storytelling elements.
-
Producing and adapting video content for product launches, marketing campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, training materials, and other digital platforms.
-
Advising stakeholders on video formats, storytelling approaches, production methods, timelines, feasibility, and delivery requirements.
-
Establishing and maintaining technical standards, templates, workflows, and quality-control processes for video and motion content.
-
Ensuring audiovisual content is consistent with Minelab's brand standards and optimized for different platforms, formats, aspect ratios, and screen sizes.
-
Reviewing work from agencies, freelancers, and other contributors and providing clear technical and creative feedback.
-
Partnering with Global and Regional Marketing teams to understand local needs and adapt global content appropriately.
-
Sharing technical expertise and best practices with colleagues through feedback, collaboration, and informal mentoring.
-
Exploring new production technologies, AI tools, automation, and emerging formats that can improve creative quality, scalability, and production efficiency.
About You
You are an experienced video and motion graphics professional who combines strong creative instincts with deep technical knowledge and the ability to take ownership of complex projects.
You are equally comfortable working through the details of an edit in Premiere Pro or After Effects, planning a production, discussing a creative concept with stakeholders, or recommending a better approach to delivering a piece of content.
You bring strong visual judgment, curiosity, and attention to detail, but you also understand the bigger picture—how video and motion can support a campaign, explain a technical product, strengthen a brand, and engage different audiences.
Because this is a global role, you will also need to be comfortable collaborating across teams, cultures, and time zones, influencing creative decisions through expertise and building strong relationships without relying on formal authority.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
-
At least 6 years of progressive experience in video editing, motion graphics, post-production, or audiovisual production.
-
A strong portfolio demonstrating advanced video editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling capabilities.
-
Demonstrated experience owning complex video projects from concept through final delivery.
-
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
-
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
-
Advanced knowledge of editing principles, cinematography, photography, lighting, sound design, color correction, file formats, codecs, and digital delivery requirements.
-
Experience establishing technical standards, templates, workflows, or quality-control processes.
-
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
-
Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
-
The ability to translate technical or complex information into clear and engaging audiovisual content.
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
-
Upper-intermediate to advanced English, with the confidence to lead project discussions and present recommendations to global stakeholders.
-
A bachelor's degree in Video Production, Motion Graphics, Visual Arts, Design, Film, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.
Experience working within a global in-house marketing team or international creative agency, producing content for product launches or technical products, or working with tools such as DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, Blender, and AI-enabled production workflows will be considered an advantage.
