We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in bringing innovative products from design into production while driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative engineering environment where you'll have a direct impact on product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and the successful introduction of new technologies.
Working closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, you'll help design world-class manufacturing processes, support New Product Introduction (NPI), and identify smarter, safer, and more efficient ways of working.
If you enjoy working on a variety of projects, solving real engineering challenges, and making a visible contribution to business success, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing activities supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept through to production.
- Design, develop, and document efficient manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Collaborate with Product Development teams to ensure products are designed for manufacture and test.
- Specify, justify, and commission new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production technologies.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, routings, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, productivity, safety, and cost.
- Support production teams by resolving manufacturing issues and implementing process improvements.
- Work collaboratively across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturers and Supply Chain to deliver successful business outcomes.

You'll hold qualifications in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronic, or a related engineering discipline and have experience within a manufacturing assembly or production engineering environment. Exposure to electronics manufacturing, precision assembly, or high-technology manufacturing will be highly regarded.
You'll have a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles, together with the ability to analyse problems, identify opportunities, and implement practical solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams will be key to your success.
Whether your experience comes from manufacturing engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering, or New Product Introduction, you'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where your ideas can make a real difference.
Benefits and Culture
Our culture is supportive and collaborative. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where we share our ideas and innovation is strongly encouraged. We are looking for someone with genuine passion and can-do attitude for what they do. Our Head office is located in Mawson Lakes offering a spacious, modern facility, free secure onsite parking, easy access via public transport, and an onsite subsidised café.
