About the Role

Based in Mawson Lakes, this role combines hands-on electronics technician work with the coordination of DTC’s loan, demonstration and exhibition equipment. You will prepare, configure, test and maintain communications equipment to ensure it is ready for customer demonstrations, training, trade shows and internal events.

Working closely with sales, product, engineering and customer support teams, you will also coordinate equipment availability, inventory movements, dispatches and returns. This role would suit an electronics technician with some materials management, inventory or supply chain experience who enjoys combining technical work with equipment coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and configure communications equipment, including firmware and software updates, licensing and functional testing
  • Inspect returned equipment, investigate technical issues and coordinate repairs or further engineering support where required
  • Maintain loan, demonstration and exhibition equipment to ensure ongoing readiness, reliability and functionality
  • Coordinate equipment allocation, bookings and availability to meet customer and internal requirements
  • Support materials and inventory management, maintaining accurate records of equipment, accessories and associated components
  • Process equipment dispatches, returns and stock movements through DTC’s ERP system
  • Monitor outstanding loans and follow up overdue, missing or damaged equipment
  • Coordinate the annual stocktake of Adelaide demonstration assets and support regional offices with timely completion
  • Provide backup support for technical enquiries, RMAs and customer visits
  • Support ISO 9001 audits and contribute to improvements in equipment preparation, asset management and customer support processes

About You

You are an electronics technician with practical experience preparing, configuring, testing and maintaining electronic or communications equipment. You hold a qualification in electronics or communications, or bring equivalent trade or industry experience, with a methodical approach to fault finding and problem solving.

You also bring some experience in materials management, inventory control, logistics or supply chain activities, ideally within a technical or manufacturing environment. You understand the importance of accurate stock and asset records, equipment availability and timely dispatch, and are comfortable using ERP or inventory management systems. Experience with SAP would be advantageous.

Organised and customer-focused, you can balance hands-on technical work with coordination and administrative responsibilities. Your attention to detail, proactive approach and ability to work across teams will help ensure equipment is ready when required.
